To meet customer requirement It was our honor to share that we provide the service for 3D print ,3D Print Custom Material Resin Print 3D Service can be the fast way without mold and fixture ,when we design a new part and we want to check the fitment before kick off the mold for production ,it was a good choice.
When we had some new idea and want to make it as a products,
1.For plastic we need the plastic mold and injection machine to make it
2.Metal part :either for stamping ,casting ,we need the casting mold or the pressing mold
3.CNC was not a bad choice but the cost for it was very expensive ,to set up the progarm and fixture
We didnot need to consider those things when we used 3D print service ,just smash us the idea you want ,sent us the drawing ,the part you want to make improved,we will handle the rest of things,what you need just spare us some time ,then you will get the part in your mind .

The application for the 3D printing service can be :
engine block ,oil pan ,oil pump ,oil pickup tube ,Cylinder head ,valve cover,piston ,connect rod ,cylinder head ,transmission oil pan ,all the part for automotive parts and service
Import all the part piston ,oil pan ,connect rod ,gear ,engine block inside the slice APP
What we need from you was the drawing ,it can be the format by step,stp,igs,stl .
Then we import the file into the slice app add support at the comfortable place to make sure the part can be print sucess also without affect the apperance
The slice app was anycubic or CHITUBOX,
Engine Oil pan fitment Reverse engineering
1.When you want to increase the capacity of the oil inside the oil pan or oil sump ,we cant check very carefully on the drawing ,even when you assemble all the part inside the engine where the engine install on the car ,you cant see where was the interfere.
2.The bolt holes to fitment inspection during the reverse engineering
3.All the R angle as you set for the oil pan ,oil sump
4.Even the fitment between engine block and oil pan
5.All the tolerance for 3D print can control within 0.05mm
6.All the oil pan blot fit the engine block install surface

More fitment checking for tghe bolt holes on the engine block
FDM printing service also work out for this project ,but as you can see the plastic wire melt and solid agian the min print nozzle was 0.10mm this was increase the tolerance for the print ,so SLA 3D printing service was the best choice
We can also saving the cost for 3D print by shelling the whole engine oil pan ,as the thicknees for the whole oil pan was 6mm ,the flange for the install can be shelling also to be 3mm.
3D printing service for engine block
Maybe you want to reverse engineering for the engine block
1.If you want to see the water clear inside the engine block
2.All the oil passage inside the engine block .
3.Also it was a very good choice as engine block model
4.You can clear see the piston and connect rod was work out if you want increase the capacity
5.You can see if the increase cylinder diameter was ok to fit for the piston
I think it was a very good choice to make a 3D print engine block before we kick off the engine block project ,as you can see the mold cost for casting and machining was very expensive ,it was worth to have it print and check carefully first before freezing the blue print.

The water jacket and oil passage way can be clear visual after the print ,since we can choose the section cutting for the engine block if we didnot 100% sure about the design

It was very convience for a car to replace the lens cover .
However it was not easy to find a right one
When you need a small batch of lens cover and didnot want to pay the huge mold cost for the plastic injection It was not a bad choice
Before you kick off the transmission case cover ,it was not a bad choice for make a 3D print first to check the fitment

Setup for the 3D print
The 3D print for all the part was started by the drawing ,normally we get the drawing from customer by the sample or customer had designed the drawing by themselves.
1.if we got the sample from our customer we can scanning it by the create form handly scanner and import to the 3D APP such as solidwork or Design,UG and create the 3D as stp or igs step.....
2.if the customer had the drawing we can just import it into the APP which control the 3D printer.
To make all idea come true ,we need computer assistance,so normally we used the design software and use a app to control the printer,

How was the 3D printing working
You must very curiosity about how can the 3D printing can be so accuracy,it was because we can slice cutting the whole drawing ,such as the engine block we can make it as each layer as 0.05mm and each layer was after the other stick on the previous one .

As you can see laser create the light the picture of each layer for the print model then one layer stick on each other as the printing part move little by little
We can set up the layer QTY as we need for the part we need to print .
The min detail for each layer can be 0.02mm,it means all the tolerance can be control within 0.05mm because it was setup the whole model by layer
