Feature & Application:
Phosphoric acid, also known as orthophosphate (molecular structure H3PO4), is a colorless, transparent, viscous liquid with no odor and a very acidic taste.
The main application areas of phosphoric acid are as follows: phosphating treatment of steel pipes on metal surfaces, preparation of electrolytic polishing solution and chemical polishing solution; Polishing of aluminum products; Manufacturing various phosphates, feed grade calcium hydrogen phosphate, acid manganese phosphate, and potassium pyrophosphate; Used to manufacture zinc phosphate as an adhesive for dental fillings; Plastic is used as a catalyst for the condensation of phenolic resins; Desiccants used in the production of dyes and intermediates; Printing is used to prepare cleaning agents for removing stains on offset printing plates; Matches are used to impregnate match stems, which can prevent burnt match stems from turning into charcoal instead of ash, making them safer to use; Metallurgy is used to produce refractory mud and improve the service life of steelmaking furnaces; Rubber is used as a coagulant for slurries and as a raw material for producing inorganic binders; Coatings are used for metal anti rust paint; Used in the food industry as an acidic seasoning.
