1.ASTM A 53  GR.B SEAMLESS STEEL PIPES

ASTM A53 specification covers seamless and welded black   and hot-dipped galvanized steel pipe in NPS 1/8  to NPS 26 [DN6 to DN 650], inclusive, with nominal wall thicknessas given in Table X2.2 and Table X2.3. It shall bepermissible to furnish pipe having other dimensions provided   that such pipe complies with all other requirements of this   specification.Supplementary requirements of an optional nature are provided and shall apply only when specifed by thepurchaser.

2.ASTM A106 GR.B SEAMLESS STEEL PIPES

ASTM A106 specification covers seamless carbon steel pipe for high-temperature service in NPS 1/8"   to NPS 48" [DN 6 to DN 1200] inclusive, with nominal (average) wall thickness as given in ASME B 36.10M. It shall be permissible to   furnish pipe having other dimensions provided such pipe complies with all other requirements of this specification. Pipe   ordered under this specification shall be suitable for bending, flanging, and similar forming operations, and for welding.   When the steel is to be welded, it is presupposed that a welding procedure suitable to the grade of steel and intended use or service will be utilized.

3.ASTM A179 /A210 BOILER STEEL PIPES

A STM A179  specification2 covers minimum-wall-thickness, seamless cold-drawn low-carbon steel tubes for tubular heat exchangers, condensers, and similar heat transfer apparatus. This specification covers tubes 1/8 to 3 in. [3.2 to 76.2 mm], inclusive, in outside diameter.

ASTM A210 specification2 covers minimum-wall-thickness, seamless medium-carbon steel, boiler tubes and boiler flues,
including safe ends (see Note 1), arch and stay tubes, and superheater tubes.The tubing sizes and thicknesses usually furnished to this specification are  1/2 in. to 5 in. [12.7 to 127 mm] in outside diameter and 0.035 to 0.500 in. [0.9 to 12.7 mm], inclusive, in minimum wall thickness. Tubing having other dimensions may be furnished, provided such tubes comply with all other requirements of this specification.

5. ASTM A333 Seamless Steel Pipe

ASTM A333 specifcation covers nominal (average) wall seamless and welded carbon and alloy steel pipe intended for use at low temperatures and in other applications requiring notch toughness. Several grades of ferritic steel are included as listed in Table 1. Some product sizes may not be available under this specification because heavier wall thicknesses have an adverse effect on impact properties.
