Product Description
Triethylene glycol (TEG) is a chemical substance with the chemical formula C6H14O4 and a molecular weight of 150.17. Colorless, almost odorless, hygroscopic viscous liquid, flammable. It is miscible with water and ethanol, slightly soluble in ether, and almost insoluble in petroleum ether. Very low toxicity, no cases of poisoning have been reported.

Product Application
1. Used as a solvent, extractant, and desiccant. Also used as a moisture absorbent and softener for printing inks.
2. It can be used as a disinfectant in air conditioning system cleaning agents
3. It is a good substitute for diethylene glycol (diglycol), which is more environmentally friendly and safe than diethylene glycol (diglycol).
4. The lipophilic hydrophilic balance (HLB) value of triethylene glycol is lower than that of diethylene glycol, so it is relatively lipophilic.
