Disinfection and hygiene field
As a component of medical disinfectants, didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride is used for medium-efficiency disinfection of medical devices (such as endoscopes, dental tools), or disinfection of environmental surfaces (wards, laboratories).
Didecyldimethylammonium chloride is used in daily chemical products, such as hand sanitizers, wet wipes, and tableware disinfectants (the concentration needs to be controlled to avoid skin irritation).
Industrial anti-corrosion and water treatment
