2-Bromobutane is Colorless transparent liquid. Melting point is -111.9ºC, boiling point is 91.2ºC, relative density is 1.2585 (20/4ºC), refractive index is 1.4366. Flash point is 21ºC. It can be miscible with acetone and benzene, soluble in chloroform, and insoluble in water. It has an aromatic odor.
