Product Description

Palmitic acid ethyl ester is Colorless acicular crystals. It has a faint waxy, fruity and creamy aroma. The boiling point is 303 °C, or 192 - 193 °C (1333 Pa), and the melting point is 24 - 26 °C. It is soluble in ethanol and oils, but insoluble in water.
The natural product is present in apricots, sour cherries, grapefruit juice, blackcurrants, pineapples, red wine, apple brandy, black bread, mutton, rice, etc.
