4-Bromo-1-indanone is used to prepare N'-indanyl-N-benzopyrazolylurea, which can be used as an analgesic TRPV1 antagonist; it is also used to synthesize 1 as a KDR kinase inhibitor ,4-Dihydroindeno[1,2-c]pyrazole compounds.
