Application field  

Used in shampoos for dandruff, zinc pyrithione inhibits the growth of Gram-positive and negative bacteria and molds. It can

effectively care for the hair, delay the aging of the hair, and control the generation of gray hair and hair loss.

The maximum allowable mass fraction of zinc pyrithione  in cosmetic  is 0.5%, and it is only used in products that are washed away

after use. The use concentration of one stage is 250-1000mg/kg (active substance), which can be used in gel, cream, lotion,

dusting powder and anti-dandruff shampoo, as well as in deodorant and disinfection products.

In addition, zinc pyrithione is also used as a cosmetic preservative, oil agent, paint biocide; as a bactericide for products such as

coatings and plastics, it is also widely used.
