L (-) - Carvone, also known as L (-) - Carvone, is a light yellow clear liquid with the chemical name 2,3-dimethyl-5-isopropenyl-cyclohexanone-1. Its molecular formula is C10H14O, molecular weight is 152.1904, and CAS number is 6485-40-1. It has a lingering orchid fragrance, with an optical rotation range of -57~-61, a density of 0.959~0.963 g/cm ³, a boiling point of 227-230 ° C, and is insoluble in water but soluble in 70% alcohol solution [1-2] [4-5] [7].
