1-Methylcyclopropene (MCP) is a cycloalkene that is used as a plant growth regulator to inhibit ethylene responses such as ripening, yellowing, and abscission in fruits, vegetables, and ornamental plants. MCP works by binding to the ethylene receptor and blocking the response to ethylene, which prolongs the shelf life and quality of harvested crops. MCP is a colorless gas at room temperature, with a boiling point of -4.7°C, and a melting point of -138°C. It has a molecular formula of C4H6, and a molecular weight of 54.09 g/mol. MCP is highly flammable and should be handled with care in a well-ventilated area. It is commonly sold in compressed gas cylinders or as a liquid in ampoules or vials.

A: Normally speaking, our MOQ is 1kg. But we can also accept less quantity such as 100g on the condition that sample charge is100% paid.
