Ranbar Blue SR5030-2 is a triphenylmethane-type acid dye for wool with a color index of Acid Blue 7. It appears as a blue powder and, when dissolved, exhibits vibrant greenish-blue tones and excellent dyeing intensity. This acid dye is widely utilized in the textile industry for dyeing wool products. It is generally easy to use and can produce a full and long-lasting greenish-blue effect, making it a common choice for dyeing wool products.
Ranbar Blue SR5030-2 acid dye exhibits excellent solubility in water, dissolving in water at room temperature to form a transparent light greenish-blue solution without a tendency to aggregate. The addition of sodium hydroxide induces a change, and upon heating to boiling, the color precipitates from blue to purple. It dissolves in ethanol, giving a blue color, turns olive green when exposed to concentrated sulfuric acid, and precipitates yellow upon dilution.
