Its chemical composition contains 0.38% - 0.43% carbon, 0.60% - 0.90% chromium, 1.65% - 2.00% nickel, and 0.20% - 0.30% molybdenum. After being quenched in oil at 850°C and tempered at 600°C, the tensile strength of this material is ≥ 1280 MPa, the elongation is ≥ 12%, and the reduction of area is ≥ 55%. The material can be enhanced in cleanliness through vacuum arc remelting technology, and it possesses excellent low-temperature toughness and fracture toughness, suitable for aerospace high-strength components and heavy machinery shafts, crankshafts, etc. The heat treatment process, such as normalizing, annealing, or high-temperature tempering, should be specified in the contract for the delivery state.
