1. P-hydroxyacetophenone is a kind of raw material used in the manufacture of
cholelithiasis and other organic synthesis. It is a very important intermediate  so it is very safe.
2. P-hydroxyacetophenone is also used as preservatives in cosmetics with moderate,
non-additive and non-irritating, at the same time antioxidant, sedative and soothing
functions to skin and other preservatives and synergistic effect, which is a multifunctional
cosmetic raw material.
3. The p-hydroxyacetophenone has good stability under high/ low PH and temperature, which is
suitable for using in facial masks, wet wipes, sunscreens, cosmetic hair care and personal care
products, etc.

Formula Guidance:
1. Suggested usage: up to 1.0%
2. Put p-hydroxyacetophenone into water or solvent, heating to 60ºC and stirring until it is dissolved
3. Can be dissolved in phenoxyethanol, glycerol, ethanol and diol like propylene glycol and
pentanediol
4. It has the potential incompatibility with some characteristic proteins, so when the formula
contains proteins, the stability of the formula needs to be determined to avoid discoloration.
