Product Description

Dihydroxyacetone is an organic compound with a white powdery crystalline appearance. It is easily soluble in organic solvents such as water, ethanol, ether, with a melting point of 75-80 ºC and a water solubility of>250g/L (20 ºC). It has a sweet taste and is stable at a pH of 6.0.

Function and Application

Skin whitening cosmetic raw material
1. dihydroxyacetone has anti-aging effects.
2.dihydroxyacetone is a skin whitening agent.
3. dihydroxyacetone reduces the formation of melanin by inhibiting tyrosinase activity.

Improvement of lean body mass in pigs
It has the effect of lowering body fat of pigs and increasing the lean body mass. 

Used in functional food
