      Propylene Glycol Methyl Ether , commonly abbreviated as   PGME , is a colorless, transparent liquid with a mild ether-like odor. Its chemical formula is C4H10O2, and its molecular weight is 90.12.
 
PGME exhibits excellent solubility: it is miscible with water, alcohols (such as ethanol and isopropanol), ethers, ketones (such as acetone), esters, and most hydrocarbon solvents.
