Applications

Membrane Technology : TMC is a key precursor for the preparation of polyamide thin-film composite membranes used in reverse osmosis (RO) and nanofiltration (NF) processes. These membranes are widely used for water purification, desalination, and gas separation.
Organic Synthesis : TMC can be used as a reagent to form various useful intermediates in organic synthesis.

Safety and Storage

TMC is moisture-sensitive and heat-sensitive. It should be stored under inert gas at low temperatures (e.g., 0-10°C) to prevent decomposition. It is also important to avoid contact with water, as it can release hydrochloric acid.
