Cold Work Mold Steel | Cold Drawn JIS SKD12 High-Speed Alloy Steel Round Bar (Equivalent to AISI A2) is a high-performance tool steel known for its excellent dimensional stability during heat treatment. With high abrasion resistance and good toughness, it is ideal for cold work mold and tool applications.

This air-hardening, 5% chromium alloy steel is typically supplied in an annealed condition (maximum HB 231) and can be heat treated to achieve a hardness of 57-62 HRC. It offers a balanced combination of wear resistance, toughness, and machinability, making it suitable for precision tools, dies, and molds.
