This is very special steel grade used by economizer and air preheater, named as weathering steel or sulfuric acid corrosion-resistant steel. China, Japan, USA all have their own industry system for this product. You can find below as details. The main difference are contents of Mn and Cr. Either Mn or Cr makes steel more harder and stronger, so it is the same usage, and 09CrCuSb is even better. US mills are out of these tubes business.
