P-NITROANILINE
 
p-Nitroaniline is a yellow, needle-shaped crystal. It is highly toxic and readily sublimes. It is slightly soluble in cold water, but soluble in boiling water, ethanol, ether, benzene, and acidic solutions.
It is a synthetic chemical widely used in the dye industry as an intermediate for various dyeing and printing products, as well as chemical.

p-Nitroaniline is an extremely important intermediate in the dye industry. It can be directly used to synthesize products such as Direct Fast Black G, Direct Green B, BE, 2B-2N, Black Green NB, Direct Gray D, Acid Black 10B, ATT, Disperse Red P-4G, Cationic Yellow 2RL, Fur Black D, 2,6-dichloro-4-nitroaniline, and 5-nitro-2-chlorophenol. 
It can also be used to synthesize the pesticide chloranil, the calcitriol, and is also a raw material for antioxidants, light stabilizers, and developers. Disperse dyes synthesized abroad using p-nitroaniline as the diazo component include C and I Disperse Orange 1, 3, 7, and 21, Red 12, 7, and 17, Blue 259, and Black 2, 3, 28, and 29.
This product, the base of the ice dye Scarlet GG, can be used as black salt K for dyeing and printing cotton and linen fabrics. It is primarily used as an intermediate for azo dyes, such as Direct Dark Green B, Acid Mordant Brown G, Acid Black 10B, Acid Fur ATT, Fur Black D, and Direct Gray D.
