Product Description

Slide Gate Plate   has various range of formulas including Alumina Carbon,Alumina Zirconia Carbon,Magnesia Spinel and so on to suit different steelmaking conditions to achive best service life.
SNREF Slide Gate Plate   adopts High quality bauxite material , also takes tabular alumina, carbonaceous material and zirconia-containing material as main raw materials, adds in high performance antioxidants, uses phenolic resin as binder, formed under high-pressure and burned under high temperature.
The slide plates have   the advantages   of high strength, good erosion resistance, thermal shock resistance and good stability etc., mainly used in large and medium-sized ladle.

Optimize the Refractory Performance:
Alumina magnesia spinel has a high melting point, excellent thermal stability, and good mechanical strength. It can maintain a stable structure at high temperatures, enhancing the refractoriness and load softening temperature of refractory materials used in steelmaking. This enables the refractory materials to better withstand the hydrostatic pressure of molten steel and the effect of high temperatures.
 
Reduce the Thermal Conductivity:
With a relatively low thermal conductivity, it can reduce the heat loss during the steelmaking process, playing an excellent role in heat insulation and thermal preservation. This is beneficial for reducing energy consumption and improving the efficiency of steelmaking.
 
Inhibit the Penetration of Molten Steel:
Alumina magnesia spinel can effectively prevent molten steel and furnace slag from penetrating into the interior of refractory materials, avoiding the structural damage and performance degradation of the materials caused by penetration. As a result, it can extend the service life of refractory materials and reduce production costs.
