Nonylphenol (NP) is a kind of multi-purpose non-ionic surfactant, the largest bulk product of alkyl phenols, and one of the most important intermediates in the petrochemical industry and organic synthesis industry. It has excellent decontamination, wetting and permeation, dispersion, solubilization and emulsification properties, and is widely used in pesticide emulsifier, daily detergent, and detergent for fine and coarse woollen fabrics in the textile industry. Washing and dispersing agents, lubricating oil additives, oil-soluble phenolic resins and insulating materials for paper industry, anti-aging agents, preservatives, colorants for rubber plastics, ore flotation agents, oil field fungicides, dispersants, cement dispersants, concrete aerating agents and oil field demulsifiers, etc.
