1, Chemical raw material field
Production of formaldehyde: used in the manufacture of adhesives, coatings, plastics (such as artificial boards), and wood processing;
Synthetic acetic acid: used as a food acidity regulator, pharmaceutical intermediate, and textile raw material;
Preparation of methyl tert butyl ether (MTBE): used as an anti knock additive in gasoline to increase octane value;
Production of organic compounds such as chloromethane and methyl acrylate: used for manufacturing pesticides (such as methyl parathion), pharmaceuticals, and synthetic fibers;
