Product Description

Anisyl alcohol  is Colorless to slightly yellow liquid or opaque crystalline substance. Relative density is 1.110 - 1.120, refractive index is 1.543 - 1.545, boiling point is about 258 - 259 °C, freezing point is >23.5 °C, flash point is above 100 °C. Insoluble in water, soluble in 50% ethanol of the same volume. Acid value is 1.0. The aroma is sweet and refreshing, mainly with fennel-like aroma and a delicate undertone of paste and powder fragrance. The aroma is mild and lasting.
