The honeycomb ceramic filter is mainly made of mullite, cordierite, and zirconia corundum as raw materials, and is a high-tech industrial ceramic product. The appearance is white in square, rectangular, circular or irregular shapes (such as triangles, fan-shaped, etc.), with high-quality and high-density straight hole mesh, making the product highly resistant to heat shock and high casting temperature. The straight hole design ensures a balance between flow rate and strength, effectively removing impurities and slag particles, greatly improving the mechanical properties, surface quality, and product qualification rate of the casting.

Installation Instructions

(1) Place the honeycomb ceramic filter in the sprue cup or at the bottom of the sprue.
(2) Place the honeycomb ceramic filter horizontally on the runner to ensure smooth metal filling and avoid direct impact on the honeycomb ceramic filter
Or vertically placed in the transverse runner, the metal liquid has a fast flow rate and good punching ability.
(3) The size of honeycomb ceramic filters should be determined based on factors such as shape and melting, as well as the characteristics of the filter itself.
(4) The casting head should be controlled as much as possible to reduce the impact of molten metal on the honeycomb ceramic filter.
(5) Honeycomb ceramic filters should not be used over temperature.
(6) Avoid using honeycomb ceramic filters to control casting speed.
